I am reading a lot more articles on Medium — and there is some truly great content out there.
This dovetails nicely into my writing as well, as I have discovered the types of articles that I want to read — and that is the audience that I want to write for.
At two minutes a read, this is too short — I cannot always get the arguments set up and the outcome secured.
Long articles, short articles, link bait, thought-provoking, and the downright annoying.
The only one that still gets through my filter is where the author goes on a long story, drawing me through each paragraph — then with a stupid twist at the end.
Shame on me.
I know that there are different audiences out there — some that will like to mull over a long article, thinking about every well-crafted sentence.
I hope that they can squeeze in a shorter article as well.
