Why Can’t We Have A Footer On Spreadsheets? [XLVII]

Spreadsheets used to be all the same — you have a grid of cells for as much as your computer memory could hold.
Google and Apple Numbers stopped doing that — so you could have a spreadsheet with only 10 rows or 8 columns if you wanted
The first real innovation that I became aware of was Apple Numbers, which allowed multiple different spreadsheets in one document and also Footer rows — which, like header rows, would be kept in place:
I mainly use Google Sheets now for the powerful =QUERY()
function, but I do miss having a footer.
