Ukraine and Cuba [XCIV]

Russia And Cuba
Let me get this straight out of the door:
The Invasion of Ukraine is a war crime and a disgraceful action _ I whole-heartedly denounce the actions.
Russia invaded Ukraine and said that they didn’t want to have their ‘NATO’ enemies so close to their doorstep.
The world was outraged (as well as it should be).
Yet when Russia was attempting to install their doctrine in Cuba with missile sites — The USA was suitably distressed, not wanting their Communist enemies so close to their doorstep.
Which argument do you lean towards — the USA, or the Russian?
They are pretty much the same argument — it just depends on your political leaning.
“But!!!”,
you will say,
“The USA never invaded Cuba.”
Nope — they just tried 638 times to assassinate Fidel Castro.
Would you have been happier if the Russians just attempted to assassinate the Ukrainian President?
