The Un-named Woman That I Admire

Or… Every man needs someone like this in their life to call out the bullshit that exists

I was reading this article from the Modern Woman publication by Alexandria Roswick titled: Writing Prompt: A Woman I Admire

Which prompted me to write this article — albeit not for the publication.

Who Is She?

The reason that I am not calling her out is multi-faceted but I honestly think that I do not have the permission to name her, to put the spotlight on her, especially in today’s digital age where everything is recorded in perpetuity.

And maybe I am wrong in my thinking — but I have told this to her face multiple times about how much she has helped me, and how much I appreciate her insight into life, and how she has changed me as a person.

Why Her?

I worked with her and as time went progressed we talked about a lot of things, we saw each other frequently, and she was honest with me.

She got me into reading feminist books to truly understand the horrific nature of the society that we live in, and how we can start changing things.
