Or… Re-discovering a valuable resource
Shhhhhhh….
I recently had the joy of going to the local library and signing up for a membership (the last time I did this was when I was at school).
I signed up online and then went to the counter to get my permanent pass and the librarian mentioned through a mumbled voice that I could borrow what I thought he said was “15 books”.
It subsequently turned out that I could borrow 50 — yes fifty — books, DVDs, magazines, or CDs.
Go to your library, it offers so much more than just books and is a valuable resource for people — both those that can afford books and those that cannot.
I know that the internet is all full of information, but when you see even just a subset of that information in physical form — wow!!!
