The distraction tactics of politicians might eventually get to the heart of the problem.
They will say:
“What we need is more secure classrooms, ensuring guns cannot get inside the school.”
Outcome: This will push school shootings into the grounds of the building.
“What we need is more secure grounds of the school, ensuring guns cannot get onto the campus.”
Outcome: This will push school shootings to the busses.
“What we need is more secure busses, ensuring that guns cannot get on to the bus.”
And we finally get to the root of the problem — which you are not going to hear.
“What we need is more secure homes, ensuring that guns cannot get into the hands of shooters.”
