Is God Racist? [LI]
Or… A pause for thought whilst reading the Bible.
Indoctrination Of Children
Note: I am an atheist, but I truly respect their right to have religious beliefs.
I was told by a Christian that every single version of the Bible was written by God through the pen of man.
Right…
When I was much younger I read a children’s bible — this is a story that I remember about how the colours of skin came about:
There was a pool of water:
The first man washed himself fully.
The second man washed himself in the now semi-muddied pool.
The third man could only wash the palms of his hands and the soles of his.
The implication is that the darker the skin the more ‘unclean’ you are (and that ‘white’ people are the clean race).
HOW F**KING RACIST IS THAT!!!
So, either God is racist and works his wonder through men, or it is just those f**cking racist men.
Oh, and let’s teach this to our children, shall we?
