Writing code means that I can automate a lot of the tasks that I want to shorten (I am also a fan of lean process improvement).
Much to my delight, I discovered that there is an API to talk to Medium and possibly automate some of the repetitive tasks of setting up all of the 150 articles that I am writing…
Alas, it is now in read-only mode and has been discontinued 2 years ago — and the API is sorely lacking.
My guess is that they swapped to GraphQL for all of their queries.
One of the downsides of GraphQL is that you have to understand the data model behind the API call to get true value out of it. Perhaps Medium didn’t want that leaking out.
