I had the opportunity to clear out some boxes from the garage recently and I came across the first Mac that I had bought, still in a dusty box.

Always curious, I decided to unpack it, plug it in, boot it up and see whether it still worked — what the state of the operating system was, and, more importantly, what I was doing back then.
