I Wrote 150 Articles in 30 Days And This Is What I learned

Or… (De-) mystifying the writing process on Medium

I don’t want to discourage you from reading this article — but here is the gist of it:

  • There is no silver bullet
  • You need to put in a lot of hard work to determine exactly what works for you
  • There is no one person out there who has the answers for you— but there are plenty of people who will sell you courses telling you that they do
  • There is a massive difference between hearing or reading advice and knowledge and understanding advice — until you truly grasp the knowledge behind it you will not be able to leverage the full value of it

This is my journey — not yours, what works for me may not work for you — but this is what I did:

  1. Write a lot — this is good practice
  2. Read a lot — see which articles I liked to read
  3. Do analysis — look back on what I have done
  4. Tweak what I am doing and go back to step 1

I challenged myself to write 150 articles of 150 words purely because I wanted to write more and learn more about…
